The first La Baule World Investment Conference was held in 2002, and the event has taken place annually ever since. On this occasion, Ernst & Young, the engine behind this conference, announced the results of its annual survey of the attractiveness of Europe and its regions.
David Fisher delivered his speech about the “City of the Future” that according to him will be a combination of cloisters, where people will live and work, creating new social life, in a way going back to past time.
The “City of the Future” of the Florentine visionary architect, will be a version of green countryside, where all transportation, public and private, will be underground, allowing green landscaping between the buildings, offering environment better values and allowing easier social life among people.
Tall buildings will allow open space in the cities of the future, leaving more green landscaping. This may satisfy those that find low rise towns to be a better social solution, not understanding that single homes occupy
