 BARI (ITALY)
 DECEMBER 3-5, 2008

The prize for the Best Innovation of The Year 2008 from CONFAPI (The National Confederation of over 120.000 Italian small and medium industrial enterprises) has been awarded today to Florence Architect David Fisher by the Mayor of Bari Mr. Michele Emiliano at the Festival of Innovation held in Bari, Italy.

The award ceremony took place in the presence of Eng. Carlo Martino, member of the national board of CONFAPI, which had chosen Arch. David Fisher and his Rotating Tower, praising his "revolutionary idea to reconcile innovation with industry."

Among the hundreds of guests there were local authorities, professors and university students, scientists and industry leaders.

The first Rotating Tower will be produced by Rotating Tower Industries Italy srl, a joint venture between Dynamic Architecture and GE.DI. Group, headed by Dr. Graziantonio Pallotta from Altamura, in the new facility in Apulia, from where the units will be exported to other countries.  A true Made in Italy, a symbol of Italian innovation in architecture, construction and technology.
