David Fisher, architect of the renowned Dynamic Tower, has been honored as the Worldwide Architect of the Year 2008, out of a record number of 2325 nominees, by the DBA (The Developers & Builders Alliance), one of the leading worldwide organizations in the field of Real Estate and Construction.
The top six finalists to the award were Foster & Partners, Jean Nouvel, Santiago Calatrava, Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects, Zaha Hadid and David Fisher’s Dynamic Architecture.
The award ceremony took place on Saturday 8th at Mar-a-Lago Club, Palm Beach, Florida, a magnificent club built in 1927 and now owned by Donald Trump. Amongst the several hundreds of guests there were worldwide industry leaders, state officials, city and county mayors, and foreign government dignitaries. The honorary members of the DBA include Donald J. Trump, Gil and Michael Dezer, as well as Jorge M. Perez.
